Iturcemi RFID Traceability

iturcemi ingeniería is a company that specialises in the development and management of turnkey projects involving electrical engineering, automation and DCS (Distributed Control Systems), industrial cranes and handling, as well as providing solutions adapted to the new digital era within the framework of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the Internet of Things.

As part of this project, we have teamed up with iturcemi ingeniería to develop the mobile application for a long-range RFID reader installed on an Android operating system, which supports a traceability system for electrolysis plants for the Spanish company Asturiana de Zinc.

This mobile application allows plant technicians to monitor the electrodes, equipped with a passive RFID tag, when it is necessary to manually relocate them outside the production sequence due to requirements of the production process.
